The Proton Glove is an Energy Weapon inserted in the Ghostbusters 2016 Update, buyers were able to purchase it either by itself or through the Ghostbusters Weapons Pack, until the Easter Update of 2021.

Taking more jargon to craft than many other the Gauntlets of old, this one provides auto-aim, yet despite the splash animation it has, it remains almost unchanged compared to others - with small splash, yet amazing range, accuracy, agility - decent rate of fire & reload speed. Given it has the ability to lock onto enemies, the damage has been reduced to mediocrity, and its projectile speeds and splash are borderline slow and low. Its damage will quickly scale to two-shot kill if the opponent consists of over +10% health.
As its name suggests, handlers should use this Launcher as if its a Melee Weapon, getting within close reaches with foes in the prospect of a Run And Gun, making use of Circle arounds against them as often as possible to avoid its inefficient proton efficiency; do note, the splash on this weapon while small, can be used against the user if they enter its core blast. At the sight of Water Weapons, Shotguns, and Assault Weapons, this glove is pulled off.

A prop of this weapon.
- Its movie version is not only far smaller, but also superior in comparison, able to set objects ablaze with a single strike; however, the projectile that lingers from the coils appears to have no major splash effect.
- In the movie, this weapon is roughly the size of an adult female hand, whereas the in-game version engulfs the characters arm, ending midway up their right bicep.
