The Mexican Fiesta 2 is a 3-trial Event that went live on the 15th of April and was added in the Mexican Fiesta 2 Update. To complete it, players had to complete 3 trials that spread over 4 weeks. Trial 1 & 2 lasted for a week each, while, Trial 3 was extended to 2 weeks (was 1 week) on the 6th of May. It continues the Mexican Fiesta, but with Freedom Soldier Kit & Freedom Fighter Kit carving a path towards independence.
This event is in correlation with the Cinco de Mayo holiday which is commemorated in Mexico annually on the 5th of May.
In 1862, on the same date, Mexican Forces commanded by General Ignacio Zaragoza defeated the French army in the Battle of Puebla.
With one day left before Trial 2's end, Tier 6 was changed from making 10 headshots in one match to 5 headshots in one match.
Trial 3 was extended to 9 more days towards the end of the trial. However being cut short by a few days for the release of the Fastest Gunslinger.
As with the previous Mexican Fiesta, some players felt that this one was too difficult and the prizes were subpar.
It refrained from providing any & , possibly due to the fact that players received a surplus of gold in the previous, St. Patrick's Day & April Fools' Day.
