The Explosive Shotgun is a shotgun that was added in Chinese New Year 6 Update as a part of the Lynx Rider Pack bundle.
Strategy
Works best when used in Run And Gun tactic. Designed for close to mid combat.
Weapon Analysis
Advantages
- High damage. Takes out an unarmored opponent in 1-3 shots.
- Fast rate of fire, the user may find themselves reloading constantly.
- Hit scan, which means any shot that is made will reach the target instantly.
- Can be buffed by S.F. Headset or Lynx Rider Pants.
Disadvantages
- Small ammo clip combined with fast firerate means constant reloading.
- Its damage can be considerably nerfed by Close Quarters Mask.
- As an explosive weapon, it can be nerfed by explosion resistant resistant armors.
Trivia
- The Explosive Shotgun possesses the fastest firerate between shotguns (needs fact checking)
- Despite its projectiles looking similar to the Post-Shotgun ones, the Explosive Shotgun does not give off any fire DOT.
