The Barker Shotgun is an energy-based Shotgun that was added in the Chinese New Year 4 Update. It is included in the Metal Earth Pack.

Strategy[]

Pushed away from the pack, this canine lacks the "biting" force of many Shotguns in close engagements, and despite the improved range compared to most, it falters greatly as damage drops off quite swiftly. Where it becomes a lonestar however is in its feed, reload speed, and plausible active skill. Avoid pursuing prey that is even moderately armed, as this gun will feel its teeth begin to brittle.

Surviving alone is key with this gun, as due to its less than copious damage, players should expect to Ambush most of their enemies, either pulling it using a Run And Gun or Camping strategy, do try to lessen the chances of fully hiding from opponents, as its active skill can be of great aid against anti equipment builds, considering its massive area of effect and recovery. This hound is easily caught by Heavy Weapons, Launchers, and Assault Weapons.
