− | The Assault Rifle is an automatic weapon and the 2nd weapon available in the shop, and is the first weapon that can be bought using Cash. It is unlocked at level 2 and costs . It deals consistent and decent Damage, thus allows you to move quite fast with the moderate Agility it boasts. It has good Range and Accuracy, along with a clip size of 28 bullets which can be upgraded to 42 bullets. This weapon is the only weapon that the player has to purchase to progress through Missions. |

− | The Assault Rifle is good for beginners that want to unlock a weapon, and honestly lets the player forget about the Rookie Machine Gun altogether. With the Assault Rifle being the cheapest weapon in the game with the exception of the Rookie Machine Gun which is given to you for free, this weapon is a dream weapon for a beginner. Although the Assault Rifle has a really slow fire rate, it compensates for this by dealing more Damage per second than the Rookie Machine Gun, as well as providing better Range and Accuracy when shooting at enemies. When using this weapon, take its Range and Accuracy into account to take out enemies from a good distance away. |

The Assault Rifle is an Assault Weapon and is the 2nd gun available in the Shop.
Strategy[]
Being the first true-to-form Assault Weapon this sharpshooter is great for a beginner, but does not do well off in the higher levels, as such its best serviced until the player can obtain more hard hitting weapons. Due to its incredibly cheap cost, this Machine Gun is great at taking out single targets with its good range and agility, along with great accuracy and reloading speed, but as pricing become a measure of strength later in the game, its once "OK" damage is greatly hindered by Health Skills and along with that its slow rate of fire can become an alert for more experienced players.

Trivia[]
- While it shares its 6% damage with four other weapons, its time-to-kill is perhaps its greatest weakness, coupled by the fact it will lose some more from a distance.
- Eleven other weapons also share this early adopters range.
- Eight other guns compare in the precision of this pseudo-bullpup.
- Twenty-three combat items consist of the same four rounds per second as this rifle.
- The Assault Rifle resembles a cartoon-style FAMAS rifle but without its iconic bullpup orientation in which the magazine, receiver and firing mechanism are located behind the trigger.
- With some inspection, viewers will notice the model has a golden outlining, this style is shared with a handful of other weapons.
- Surprisingly, despite the buff it receives from acquiring + Reload Speed in Rifles it remains in a pool with nine other firearms, albeit, half of them having 1/5 of this FAMAS' magazine - a favor thanks to the + Ammo in machine guns perk.
- Once upon a time it used to hold a green cartridge on the icon of the reload button. As time passed, it was restocked with a brown magazine; however that older coloration can still be seen in one of the trailers[1].
- Strangely, this gun never received a golden upgrade; and its hint to a dual wielded counterpart[2] was never released.
